Bubble Odyssey - Demo

Game Jam theme was Bubble.  Approximately 48 hrs were given to create a game.
Player's Choice Award Winner & 2nd Place at the Malta Global Game Jam 2025.

Bubble Odyssey is a 3D platformer that allows you to control a bubble and change its shape and density.

It's a game focused on speed running the level utilizing the different forms of the bubble with their Pros and Cons.

Light Mode: in light mode, you're lighter so you can travel upwind columns, fall slower, have an overall larger speed cap, dash forward at the cost of stamina and, jump near infinitely in the air at the cost of stamina.

Heavy Mode: in heavy mode, you're heavier so you fall faster, are slower at going upwind columns, and have no special movements

Large mode: you're bigger and take up to 3 hits to die

Small mode: you're smaller allowing you to move faster but you can only take 1 hit before dying

Controls:
WASD: move
Q: toggle between light and heavy mode
E: toggle between Large and Small mode
L Shift: dash forward (only in light mode)
Space: jump/jump in the air (only in light mode)

To play the game, simply download it from this page, extract the file using something like Winrar or 7zip and double-click on the BubbleGameJam.exe.
It is highly recommended that you play the tutorial first.
